Bern,

Caught a few shows, awesome! Inspired to.....I think just live life! Cements my train of thought recently, to be myself and live! Very cool and nice job! Hope all is well with the little one and we'll miss you for the 24 Nats this year.

I watched every show, and I was inspired. I was so very, very inspired, and my husband and I even applied for the next season. I'm sure that thousands are applying, but we thought that we should give it a try. It must have been a great experience to get away from all of life's stresses and get back to the true core of life. I'm glad that everyone completed their Alaskan Experiment in good health and happiness. (My husband and I were fans of Hawkin's Glacier and you two from the first episode!)

To be honest, it scared me. I like to think I can handle anything, but, after watching your show, I'm having serious 2nd thoughts. That was over the top! Major props to you and Greg. Although I've never met Greg, he appears to be an awesome man and very dedicated to you. You can't ask for anymore than that. Give Hawkins a hug for me when he arrives. Thanks Bernice...

That was a great show. You guys did a fine job. I got a kick out of Greg's cabin fever hallucinations. Funny stuff!

It was so very interesting to watch all the different family and friend dynamics. I was inspired by the true care and strong love that you and Greg share with each other! I hope to meet him at a race sometime!
Have you picked out a Blue Bombshelly for LT yet?

Bernice,

I loved the show so much I just filled out the application for the next round.

I thought you were the most loving, thoughtful, non-complaining person on the show. Best of luck to you, Greg and the new little one!!

Tremendous stuff indeed !

I am currently sitting over here in Bonny Scotland watching the 3rd episode and an addicted.

Ok I might be biased but I reckon you and Greg got the most out of the experience from all the folks taking part. Big respect to Greg for stepping up to it.

Cheers

I loved the show and you and Greg were the best group by far!! You guys really worked as a team! It is my life long wish to go to Alaska, although I don't kid myself that I could do what you guys did! You are awesome!

Shawn: Yup, bummed to miss Nats at that lovely course of yours! You'll have to meet me in AZ for Nats next year! Wanna support? :)

M: Glad you were inspired! Let me know if they choose you for season 2. Then I will root for you guys!

Brad: Oh, I'm sure you could handle it,,, but you are probably smarter than me to just stay near your heater!

Adam: That place was seriously haunted! But we do laugh about it now. ;)

Lucas: Well I've gotten as far as the bike trailer attachment for Little Tyke so Mommy can get back into shape fast! Plus, I think LT will be encouraged to play safer sports like golf & tennis! ;-))

Ann: I think years of training and adventure racing with guys prepared me to have that positive attitude. Hopefully it will carry over to child care too! :)

Graham: Can you believe it? All those years ago when we met,,,you never thought you'd be watching me on your TV at home, huh? Funny! You guys in the UK are getting to see more footage than us here in the US!

Tammy: Go to AK! Even if just for a short time. You definitely don't have to do what we did to appreciate the beauty there. Maybe we'll go back with you...when Little Tyke is bigger! We do want to get back there next summer/fall.

Hi Bernice!

My husband Charlie and I just LOVED the show. We know you from the AR community (we're friends of Kathryn Tubbs) and it was so fun to watch a familiar face and "get to know" Greg. I cracked up when you were beating the salmon to try and kill it and it burped at you. While we live adventurous lives already, we are always inspired by these types of shows to ask the question, "what if?" What if we quit our jobs and moved somewhere that totally simplified our lives? I don't know that we'd take it to the extreme and live up a glacier, but the experience you two had is enviable. We're mulling over an application...mulling, mulling...

That explains it all, the snow, the cold and the mountains. You were in Alaska!!! It seemed a little strange for all that snow it be in Southern California.

I'm inspired. I'm going to ride my bike up a big hill.

Hope your feeling better, talk to you soon.
